No matter the year of its composition, all music deserves to be heard as if it were brand new.  The term “standard repertoire” needs to be tossed into the trash bin. 

Orchestra for a New Century will perform a blend of music from all time periods, with a special emphasis on the very new.  The ensemble will present concerts that are virtuosic in execution, heartfelt in presentation and enthusiastic in performance.

Orchestra for a New Century’s concerts will be performed live in traditional and non-traditional concert halls as well as live-streamed via the internet to virtual subscribers around the globe.

Orchestra for a New Century is led by award-winning conductor/composer Gary M. Schneider. A prize-winner of the Leopold Stokowski Competition for American Conductors, Schneider is a noted advocate and interpreter of the music of today and a critically acclaimed conductor of symphonic, operatic, musical theatre, jazz and third-stream repertoire on both sides of the Atlantic.
